A Professional Home for Ai Automation Engineering
Structured. Scalable. Standards-driven.

About Us

Who We Are
The Society of Ai Automation Engineers unites researchers, builders, and leaders—built on academic rigor, industry methods, and global standards.
What We Do
SAAE unites researchers, builders, and leaders—built on academic rigor, industry methods, and global standards. We help define how intelligent automation is designed, deployed, and scaled across real-world systems.

What Drives Us

Speed of Change
Ai automation is moving faster than most teams can safely implement—and many are right to hesitate. The guardrails haven’t caught up.
SAAE was formed to bring structure, safety, and shared understanding to this evolving discipline. We believe intelligent automation must be engineered, not improvised—built on the same rigor that has supported aerospace, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure.
Mission
Our mission is to unite practitioners, researchers, and operators to define scalable standards and practices that turn automation into a true engineering domain.
Our Foundation

Membership Framework

Industry
Partners
Industry partners contribute real-world insights, inform implementation standards, and collaborate on frameworks that make AI automation scalable and reliable. Participation may include working groups, pilot engagement, and co-development of domain-specific standards. Ideal for SaaS providers, automation agencies, enterprise teams, and forward-thinking companies across sectors.
Academic
Partners
Academic partners help shape foundational frameworks for automation engineering through research, curriculum, and applied instruction. This includes universities, research institutes, and training organizations focused on certification, standards education, and technical skill-building. Participation may include framework development, content collaboration, and future learning initiatives.

Strategy
Describe the service and how customers or clients can benefit from it. It’s an opportunity to add a short description with relevant details, like pricing, duration and how to book.

Standards

Our View
At SAAE, we believe that intelligent automation must be guided by clear, tested, and scalable standards. Our goal is to define frameworks that blend engineering rigor with real-world implementation—ensuring Ai-powered systems are not only innovative, but reliable, auditable, and adaptable across domains. We review existing standards, identify gaps, and collaborate across disciplines to build what the automation era needs next.

Current Standard Under Review

ISO/IEC 42001:2023
Ai Management Systems
ISO/IEC 42001:2023 is the first international standard focused on Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). It outlines how organizations can responsibly design, deploy, and maintain Ai systems—balancing innovation with governance. SAAE is currently reviewing this standard to align future frameworks and certifications with global best practices.
